I love the most
swimming in the sea;
the movement of the water against your body,
the salty taste on your lips.

The sea isn’t still
and you can feel
the gentle pressure of the water on your skin.

Like it’s caressing you,
soothing you,
and pressing all your joints in the right place.

Sometimes I compare it with life
– with its movement, which we cannot control,
and yet, we are moving in it.

Maybe if we don’t resist it
but instead, just see it as a waving sea,
if we don’t try to conquer the waves
and rather surrender to their rhythm

– things will find their place,
and in the movement,
we will find peacefulness.
